The America I Know

If the 2016 election cycle taught us anything, it may be that our country is more deeply divided than many of us ever imagined. And the distances between us — between the wealthy and the barely-making-it, the urban and the rural, white people and people of color, the more educated and the less educated — can be so vast that it can be hard to find common threads. In this series of conversations, we’ll look to leaders of all kinds from around our country to probe not only the roots and realities behind these divisions, but to help identify the ties that bind us together, and the ideas and solutions that are making life better for all Americans.
