Rohan Patel

Rohan Patel is the senior global director of public policy and business development at Tesla, where he oversees regulatory, legislative, and business development efforts. Previously, he was special assistant to the president, senior advisor for climate and energy policy, and associate director at the White House Council on Environmental Quality for the Obama administration. Prior to this, he was senior policy advisor to secretary Vilsack at the USDA and held leadership roles in the Obama presidential campaign. Earlier in his career, he was on the staffs of former Iowa Governor Chet Culver, former Indiana Senator Evan Bayh, and the Iowa Senate Democrats.
