Krista Tippett is the creator and host of “On Being,” a public radio show and podcast that focuses on meaning in modern life. She also is the founder and leader of The On Being Project, a nonprofit media and public-life initiative. A Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, Tippett launched “On Being” as “Speaking of Faith” in 2003 and was awarded the National Humanities Medal for her work in 2014. Early in her career, Tippett was a journalist and diplomat in Cold War Berlin. She is the author of Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living, Einstein’s God: Conversations About Science and the Human Spirit, and Speaking of Faith.
