Founder, The On Being Project; Creator and Host, “On Being”
Krista Tippett is creator and host of “On Being,” the public radio show and podcast that takes up the questions of meaning in 21st century life. She founded and leads The On Being Project, a nonprofit media and public life initiative. A Peabody Award-winning broadcaster, she launched “On Being” as “Speaking of Faith” in 2003 and was awarded the National Humanities Medal for her work in 2014. Early in her career, she was a journalist and diplomat in Cold War Berlin. A New York Times best-selling author, her books include a Becoming Wise: An Inquiry into the Mystery and Art of Living and Einstein’s God: Conversations About Science and the Human Spirit. She has a master’s in divinity from Yale University.
