Patrons and the Fellows Program

Aspen Ideas Patrons support the Aspen Ideas Fellows, a group of 250+ young, diverse, global leaders who are carefully selected for their work, accomplishments, and ability to transform ideas into action. Each year, a cohort of Fellows are invited to attend the Aspen Ideas Festival and participate in special programming intended to spark inspiration, meet with key Festival speakers, and leave with learnings and connections that will advance their real-world work.

Here's what Fellows are saying about their Festival experience:

"This was an amazing experience, personally and professionally ... I was able to attend panels and other keynote discussions that exposed me to issue areas that I have never before been part of. I took away best practices and ideas for potential new solutions that seek to make our society better." — Jose Corona, director of equity and strategic partnerships for the office of Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf

"As I continue to unpack the lessons from many of the world's most acclaimed scientists, journalists, artists, and global thought leaders from the Aspen Ideas Festival — words cannot express my gratitude ... It was truly an honor to join 300 leaders from across the globe as a 2019 Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar." — Dolores Lozano, Public Relations and Media Specialist, Genesys Works

"I had genuine conversations and encounters with multiple people — scholars and attendees — that filled me with such gratitude and amazement. All of the sessions I attended were engaging and high quality ... Importantly, I felt like I belonged. It was an inclusive experience that left me full and energized." — Kari Mailloux, Program Officer, Hutchinson Community Foundation (KS)
