William E. Mayer

Founder and Partner, Park Avenue Equity Partners; Chairman Emeritus, The Aspen Institute

William Mayer is founder of Park Avenue Equity Partners. He was previously a professor and dean at University of Maryland College of Business and at University of Rochester College of Business. Mayer spent 23 years at The First Boston Corporation (now Credit Suisse), where he rose to president and CEO. He serves on the boards of BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation, Premier Inc., Lee Enterprises, Acumen, Rubin Museum, Atlantic Council, Pardee RAND Graduate School, Global Health Corps, and Miller Buckfire. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, he is also vice chairman of the Middle East Investment Initiative, former chairman of the Aspen Institute, and a US Air Force veteran.
