Tom Szaky is the founder and CEO of TerraCycle, a global leader in the collection and repurposing of complex waste streams operating in 21 countries. The firm’s Loop platform allows consumers to purchase products in durable, reusable packaging as a step in ending the waste of single-use consumption. His and TerraCycle’s recognition includes awards from the United Nations, World Economic Forum, Schwab Foundation, Fortune, TIME, and the US Chamber of Commerce. Szaky is the author of Revolution in a Bottle, Outsmart Waste, Make Garbage Great, and The Future of Packaging. He created, produced, and starred in TerraCycle’s reality show, “Human Resources” which aired from 2014 to 2016 and is syndicated in more than 20 foreign markets.
