Theo Edmonds is an artist-innovator and partner and chief imaginator of IDEAS xLab, which he co-founded in 2012 to establish a shared value paradigm between the arts/culture and health sectors. Previously, he was a health care executive. Edmonds is vice chair of Americans for the Arts' Private Sector Council, co-chair of Louisville Health Advisory Board’s Cultural Committee, executive board member of Louisville’s LGBTQ+ Community Coalition, and co-led Louisville, KY’s successful 2016 bid to be named a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Culture of Health Prize winner. For his work at the intersection of cultural and health equity, Southern Living Magazine named him one of 50 People Changing the Face of the South.
