
Shannon Jaccard is CEO of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In 2002, she founded Compeer San Diego, a nonprofit that provides support to individuals with mental illness. She serves on several boards, including Recovery Innovations International and the Meeting Place Clubhouse in San Diego County, and is a fellow of the inaugural class of the Aspen Institute’s Health Innovators Fellowship and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Jaccard’s honors include being named an Outstanding Young Californian by the San Diego Junior Chamber of Commerce, one of San Diego Magazine’s 50 People to Watch, and receiving the Channel 10 News Leadership Award.
