
Sarah Rich

Sarah Rich is a writer and editor focused on design, culture, and social change. Previously, she was a senior editor at Dwell and managing editor of Worldchanging, where she co-authored the best-seller, Worldchanging: A User’s Guide for the 21st Century. Rich has been a founding editor for publications including Longshot Magazine and Civil Eats. Author of Urban Farms, her most recent book, Leave Me Alone with the Recipes: The Life, Art and Cookbook of Cipe Pineles, tells the life story of designer Cipe Pineles. Her article “Masculinity is Stifling,” which explored boyhood and cultural norms, was recently published in The Atlantic. Rich serves on the board of directors for Project H and Girls Garage, a nonprofit design/build program for girls.
