Sarah Newman is the founder and executive director of Climate Mental Health Network, addressing the mental health consequences of climate change. The organization takes an intergenerational approach to reaching young people, parents and educators with research-informed programs and resources. Prior to this, Newman was an independent strategy consultant for social impact campaigns. Previously, she was a researcher and campaign manager at Participant Media. Early in her career, Newman was an outreach director and community organizer at California Interfaith Power and Light.
