Robert Wright is a pediatrician and environmental epidemiologist. He is the Ethel H. Wise Professor of Community Medicine, chair of the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health, and director of the Institute for Exposomic Research at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. As a researcher of environmental factors that influence neurodevelopment, he is the principal investigator of an ongoing birth cohort in Mexico City and founder of a study in Oklahoma, both of which assess the role of environmental chemical mixtures in child health. Wright has published more than 200 research studies and has been awarded more than $40 million by the National Institutes of Health for his work. (Festival Underwriter Presenter)
