Rachel Romer Carlson is CEO of Guild Education, a company that works with Fortune 1000 employers on education and upskilling programs that she co-founded in 2015. Previously, she founded and led Student Blueprint, an education technology start-up that provides college students and schools with academic and career-planning tools. Carlson has also worked for the 2008 Obama campaign, in the White House Office of Presidential Personnel, for Ernst & Young’s Parthenon Group strategy consulting arm, and for American Honors, an organization that coaches community college students. Her honors include being named to Forbes’ 2021 list of self-made women, to the 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30, and 2020 EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Mountain Desert region.
