Queenstar Akrong is the founder of No Debt Degree, a platform to educate families on the financial investment a postsecondary education requires. She is also a senior director at Whiteboard Advisors, focused on advocacy and government affairs strategy for issues related to education, equity and postsecondary access initiatives for under-represented students. Prior to this, Akrong worked at the College Board, leading internal and external equity initiatives and managing national outreach for a $25 million College Board Opportunity Scholarships program. Previously, she worked on Capitol Hill in the office of Nancy Pelosi through the Congressional Black Caucus Emerging Leaders Program. Akrong is an Elect-Her facilitator at Running Start: Bringing Young Women to Politics and a diversity and inclusion facilitator with Factuality.
