Psyche Loui is an assistant professor in psychology and in neuroscience and behavior at Wesleyan University. She directs the MIND (Music, Imaging, and Neural Dynamics) Lab, which studies the neuroscience of music perception and cognition and tackles questions such as, can music be used to help those with neurological and psychiatric disorders? Loui was previously a neurobiology instructor and research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. She has published in journals including Current Biology, Journal of Neuroscience, and Music Perception, and has been interviewed by the Associated Press, CNN, WNYC, Boston Globe, BBC Radio 4, NBC News, CBS radio, and The Scientist magazine.
