Phyllis Heydt
Program Director, UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy for Health and Malaria
Phyllis Heydt is a program director for the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Health and the Global?Health Alliance, focusing on community health and frontline delivery systems. She previously worked on the strategy team at the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, TB, and Malaria, and before that was an engagement manager in McKinsey’s health care practice in Germany and London. She co-founded and is a board member of Discovering Hands, an award-winning social health care enterprise based in Germany. Heydt is passionate not only about health care quality and performance, but has a particular interest in health access issues and assistive technologies for people with disabilities.
