Pepukaye Bardouille is director of the Bridgetown Initiative and special adviser on climate resilience at the Barbados prime minister's office. Prior to this, she was lead of the global infrastructure department at International Finance Corporation. Previously, Bardouille was founding CEO of the Climate Resilience Execution Agency for Dominica, leading its climate-resilient rebuilding after Hurricane Maria. She also led work with International Finance Corporation from 2010 to 2018 to scale commercially viable models for off-grid and mini-grid electrification in Africa and Small Island Developing States. Earlier in her career, Bardouille was a senior engagement manager for oil, gas and mining at McKinsey and Company.
