Pablo Haake

Pablo Haake is an executive analyst at the City of San José, California. He helps lead the city’s US Census canvassing campaign, which has pushed San José to reach the highest Census 2020 response rate among cities of its size. Specializing in community engagement and spatial analysis, he also supported the city on homelessness policy and resident outreach during the COVID-19 pandemic. Haake joined the city as a Community Impact Fellow in 2019 after graduating from Stanford University with a BA in urban studies. Civically engaged since age 16, he has lobbied for statewide legislation, created organic vegetable gardens, led protests, and organized an event on youth-led community development supported by the Bezos Family Foundation, among others.
