Nikhil Deogun is editor in chief and senior vice president of business news at CNBC, driving the editorial content for 15 hours of daily live programming, overseeing all US news programs as well as the award-winning “Nightly Business Report,” and managing the network’s specials and long-form documentary units. He joined CNBC in 2010 as managing editor from The Wall Street Journal, where he had worked since 1994. At the Journal, Deogun was deputy managing editor from 2008 to 2010, editor of the Money and Investing section, deputy chief of the Washington bureau, editor of the Media and Marketing section, and a reporter covering mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
