Monica Talbert is co-founder and CEO of The Plant Based Seafood Co., a family of brands that focuses on creating healthy, sustainable and delicious alternatives to seafood, and of Mind Blown, the company’s line of plant-based frozen seafood entrees. She has more than 20 years of experience in the conventional seafood industry. Prior to launching Mind Blown in 2020, Talbert was president of The Van Cleve Seafood Co., helping grow the company so that its gourmet products were found in thousands of grocery stores and one landed on Oprah’s list of favorite things in 2017. Her career began at her family-owned market. Talbert was named one of the Top 10 Women Saving the Ocean by the Vegan Women Summit in 2021.
