Mike Kohler is a managing director in Deloitte’s Washington National Tax Passthrough Group, since 2010. He concentrates on renewable energy, carbon sequestration, carbon offsetting and insetting, and other areas of sustainable infrastructure development. Prior to this, Kohler was an associate in tax at Jones Day. Previously, he was an associate in tax planning at McKee Nelson. After receiving his law degree from Columbia University School of Law, Kohler was a clerk in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Earlier in his career, he was an assistant professor of comparative literature and theater at State University of New York at Binghamton. (Deloitte is a 2023 Festival Underwriter)
