Michael Fitzpatrick is a partner at Brunswick Group, providing public affairs and regulatory counseling with a focus on technology and digital policy as well as crisis management and litigation communications. Prior to this, he was head of global regulatory affairs, then director of global strategy and innovation, at Google. Previously, Fitzpatrick was head of regulatory advocacy at General Electric and associate administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Obama administration. He is a member of the American Law Institute, a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and an adjunct professor at The Washington Campus. Fitzpatrick guest lectures at Georgetown University Law School, Harvard’s Kennedy School and Penn’s Biden School of Public Policy, among other universities.
