
Michael Eisner
Founder, The Tornante Company; Trustee, The Aspen Institute
Michael Eisner is the founder of The Tornante Company, a media and entertainment firm that owns Bazooka, Portsmouth Football Club in England, and a television division. He has been a leader in the entertainment industry for four decades, notably as chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, a position he held from 1984 to 2005. Previously, Eisner was president of Paramount Pictures and began his career at ABC. He is the author of five books, including Working Together: Why Great Partnerships Succeed and Work in Progress. Eisner is a co-founder, with his wife Jane, of The Eisner Foundation and a trustee of the Aspen Institute. He was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2012.
