Matt Rogers is CEO of the Mission Possible Partnership, a nonprofit alliance seeking to accelerate industrial decarbonization across aviation, shipping, trucking, chemicals, concrete, steel, and aluminum. He recently retired as a senior partner with McKinsey & Company, where during his over 20-year tenure he led its oil and gas, electric power, and sustainability practices. During 2009 and 2010, Rogers was a senior advisor to the US secretary of energy, leading implementation of the Recovery Act and funding more than 5,000 projects to accelerate US energy innovation in electric vehicles, wind, solar, batteries, biofuels, advanced nuclear, and energy efficiency. He is the co-author of Resource Revolution: How to Capture the Biggest Business Opportunity in a Century.
