
Margaret Lapiz is past executive vice president of strategy and integration for The Permanente Medical Group, a role she held since 1999. She’s the founder of Prep Medico, building the next generation of physicians advancing Latino health; Diversity in Health Professions, an investment fund creating partnerships between community colleges and community health organizations; and Under One Roof, a health-impact venture working in agricultural communities. One of UC Berkeley School of Public Health’s 75 Most Influential Alumni, Lapiz was also named one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina Women in the World. A trustee of the UC Davis Foundation, she is a Health Innovators Fellow and member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
