Lisa Ling

Lisa Ling is host and executive producer of the CNN series, “This Is Life with Lisa Ling,” which won a 2017 Gracie Award, and host of “This Is Sex with Lisa Ling” and “This Is Birth with Lisa Ling” on CNN Digital. Previously, Ling was a field correspondent for “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” contributor to “Nightline” and National Geographic’s “Explorer,” and host of “Our America with Lisa Ling” on OWN. She co-hosted ABC’s “The View” and was a special correspondent for CNN’s “Planet in Peril.” Ling’s journalism career started as a correspondent for Channel One News. The co-author of Mother, Daughter, Sister, Bride: Rituals of Womanhood and Somewhere Inside, she was named to the Commission on White House Fellows in 2014.
