Lindsay Thornton
Senior Sports Psychophysiologist, United States Olympic Committee
Lindsay Thornton is a senior sport psychophysiologist at the United States Olympic Committee, since 2013. A licensed psychologist who is board certified in biofeedback and neurofeedback by BCIA, she’s also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Thornton has developed, advised, and provided training for psychophysiology labs in elite athlete training centers domestically and abroad. She was a partner with RTSG Neuroscience Consultants and a consultant with Clinical and Sport Consulting Services, among other previous positions. Thornton is intrigued by the prospect of identifying psychophysiological markers for elite performance and using technology and education to enhance sleep, recovery, and performance.
