Kimi Culp is a producer and storyteller who is currently producing Gleason, a feature-length documentary on former NFL football player Steve Gleason and his wife Michel, who are using Gleason’s ALS diagnosis to help others. Culp was most recently a partner at Long Story Short Media, a creative consulting company whose clients include The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Kaiser Family Foundation, and Alicia Keys Foundation. She was previously executive director of talent and development at OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, overseeing series and specials including “Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind.” Her experience also includes work as a producer and story developer for NBC, ABC, and The Documentary Group.
