Kathleen Regan is executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Commonwealth Fund. Regan served as senior advisor to the US Department of State Global Health Initiative and led the development of a public‒private partnership, Saving Mothers, Giving Life, to address maternal mortality in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining The Commonwealth Fund, Regan held positions in health care investing and served as a board member of several medical device and biopharma companies. She was a venture partner at Radius Ventures and a senior advisor and operating consultant to Warburg Pincus, and she held senior management roles at Citibank/SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Freedom Securities Tucker Anthony. Regan currently serves on the boards of Boston Children’s Hospital and Power of Two.
