Karla Fortuny is director of government and community affairs at Florida International University. Prior to this, she was deputy chief of staff and director of communications for a Miami city commissioner. Previously, Fortuny held coordinator and communications positions with Miami Super Bowl Host Committee, Inter Miami CF, and the Miami Open.
