Karan Chopra is a co-founder and senior advisor of Opportunity@Work, a social venture focused on rewiring the US labor market so that individuals without four-year college degrees but skilled through alternative routes (STARs) can work and earn to their full potential. An entrepreneur with experience in building ventures at the intersection of technology, economic mobility, and sustainability, he previously co-founded, scaled, and sold GADCO, Ghana’s largest rice producer. Earlier, Chopra was at McKinsey & Co. and a software developer at Siemens. A board member of multiple ventures focused on the future of work and sustainability, he was named a 30 under 30 Social Entrepreneur by Forbes and an Aspen Institute New Voices Fellow.
