Jose Zamora
Chief Communications and Impact Officer, Exile Content Studio
Jose Zamora is Exile Content Studio’s chief communications and impact officer. A 2020 JSK Stanford Fellow, he is focused on promoting collaboration networks, innovation, and freedom of the press. Zamora previously was senior vice president of Univision News from 2012 to 2022, where he launched newsroom innovation projects and managed the news division's crisis communications. Prior to this, Zamora managed the Knight News Challenge as well as the journalism program at Knight Foundation, helping to develop over 100 grants to advance media innovation and press freedom. Zamora is a board member of CUNY Graduate School of Journalism Foundation, International Center for Journalists, Ripple Effect Images and Florida International University’s Kopenhaver Center.
