Johanna Wolfson

Johanna Wolfson is a co-founder and general partner at Azolla Ventures and co-founder of Prime Impact Fund, both of which are initiatives of the nonprofit Prime Coalition that’s working toward market-driven solutions to climate change. Her career focuses on accelerating climate technologies from lab to market. Previously, Wolfson was the technology-to-market director for the US Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where she deployed millions of dollars into innovative energy projects and companies and advised on effective lab-to-market strategies. Prior to that, she led start-up engagement at the applied R&D lab Fraunhofer, sourcing innovative technologies for Fortune 500 clients and designing demonstration projects for emerging start-ups to ready their products for market entry.
