Joanna Lambert
Professor, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, University of Colorado Boulder
Joanna Lambert is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Colorado Boulder where she also serves as Director of the American Canid Project. As a conservation biologist, she has studied endangered wildlife around the world and serves on the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s Species Survival Commission. Previously, she was an advisor to the United Nations Environmental Program and Director of the National Science Foundation’s biological anthropology program. Lambert has published extensively on her work, and her honors include being elected a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and named a Linnean Society Fellow.
