Jean Case is chair of the National Geographic Society and CEO of Case Impact Network. A businesswoman, investor, philanthropist, and impact-investing pioneer, she co-founded the Case Foundation in 1997 and launched the Case Impact Network in 2020 to expand efforts to usher in an era of more inclusive capitalism. Previously, Case had a nearly two-decade career in the private sector, including as a senior executive at AOL. She authored a best-seller, Be Fearless: 5 Principles for a Life of Breakthroughs and Purpose, and serves on the boards of National Geographic Partners and the White House Historical Association, as well as on advisory boards for the Brain Trust Accelerator Fund, the Smithsonian, and Georgetown University.
