Javier Okhuysen

Javier Okhuysen is co-founder and co-CEO of salaUno, dedicated to eliminating blindness in Mexico, where he manages the company’s scaling, financing, payer relations, and digitalization of the business model. With a prior career in investment banking and private equity in London and New York, he decided to apply what he had learned in the high finance world to become a social entrepreneur. He is passionate about scaling successful health care models from around the world, leveraging advanced technologies to exponentiate growth, and innovating to reach those most in need. Okhuysen is a Schwab Foundation Entrepreneur of the Year, National Entrepreneur awardee from the president of Mexico, and an Endeavor Entrepreneur.
