Jakob Lange is a partner at BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) and has collaborated with the architecture and planning firm since 2003. He has been a project leader for several of BIG’s award-winning projects, including The Mountain mixed-use residences in Copenhagen and Tallinn Town Hall in Estonia. Lange is currently partner in charge of BIG’s Mars Research City in Dubai, the first prototype of Martian architecture on Earth. He also heads BIG IDEAS, the technology-driven special projects division that informs BIG’s design decisions with research-based information. Lange’s board service includes the Hyperloop One Advisory Board, Danish Design Council, and World Economic Forum Advisory Committee.
