Iván Duque is a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center, Oxford, and Florida International University. Prior to this, as the president of Colombia from 2018 to 2022, he led the country’s energy transition, declaring 34 percent of the country a protected area and launching the green hydrogen roadmap. The author of many books on net zero, economics, geopolitics, and culture, Duque is recognized as a global expert on sustainability, conservation, green finance, and energy transition. He is an ambassador for the World Coalition for Nature.
