Helen Fisher is a biological anthropologist, a senior research fellow at The Kinsey Institute of Indiana University, a member of the Center for Human Evolutionary Studies in the Anthropology Department at Rutgers University, and chief scientific advisor to Match.com. She uses brain scanning to study the neural systems associated with sex, love, and romantic attachment and is currently studying the biological basis of personality and examining the neurochemistry of leadership and innovation. Fisher’s best-selling books include Why We Love; Why Him? Why Her?; and Anatomy of Love. She is a TED All-Star and a recipient of the American Anthropological Association’s Distinguished Service Award.
