Heather George

Heather George, the primary voice of The Lotus Way, is an Oriental medical doctor, licensed acupuncturist, yoga therapist, and educator. She also directs the only non-profit scholarship foundation in the United States dedicated to schools of acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Additionally, George leads community and educational services for The Lotus Way. Her teachings are rooted in Eastern and natural healing practices that honor the spiritual aspects of life. These include meditation, classical Chinese medicine, classical Ayurvedic and yogic traditions, bodywork, herbal therapies, and spirit-centered counseling. She also offers educational programs in macular (vision) regeneration, auricular therapy for trauma and addiction recovery, and Asian bodywork and yoga therapy. With over 30 years of experience, George provides a unique, intuitive approach to health-centered education and service for her patient-students.
