Grace Anne Dorney Koppel is an educator, behavioral scientist, attorney, and president of the Dorney-Koppel Foundation, which provides start-up funding and strategic guidance for pulmonary rehabilitation centers in areas of high prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Having been diagnosed with very severe COPD in 2001, she has devoted her training, knowledge, and professional life to achieving better outcomes and quality of life for the 30 million Americans and the hundreds of million worldwide who have COPD. Koppel is immediate past president of the COPD Foundation and chair of its Advocacy and Public Policy Committee. There are eleven Grace Anne Dorney Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinics in rural areas in five states.
