Eric Silagy is chairman and CEO of Florida Power & Light Company, America's largest electric utility. He has worked at FPL and other NextEra Energy companies for nearly two decades. At FPL, he has been senior vice president of regulatory and state governmental affairs and chief development officer. At NextEra, he was vice president and general manager of the southern region and vice president of business development. Silagy is a board member of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, a board of governors member for the State University System of Florida, vice chair of the Florida Council of 100, an executive board member of Enterprise Florida, and serves on the Energy Security Leadership Council of Securing America’s Future Energy.
