Doug Rauch is founder and president of Daily Table, a nonprofit retail store designed to bring affordable nutrition to the food insecure in US cities by recovering unsold, wholesome food from grocers, food service, growers, and manufacturers to provide ready-to-eat meals and basic groceries at prices that compete with nutritionally challenged food. Rauch was previously president of Trader Joe’s, where he helped grow the business from a small chain in California to a retail success story. Rauch is co-CEO of Conscious Capitalism, a trustee at Olin College of Engineering, on the board of overseers at WBUR, and serves on the boards of several for-profit and nonprofit companies.
