Dorene Rentz
Associate Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School
Dorene Rentz is an associate professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School with dual appointments in the neurology departments at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and at Massachusetts General Hospital. A clinical neuropsychologist for 29 years, she is co-director of the Center for Alzheimer Research and Treatment, director of neuropsychology at MGH Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and director of the outreach, recruitment, and education core as well as clinical core leader of the Harvard Aging Brain Study. Rentz’s research interests include the early detection of cognitive and behavioral changes in preclinical Alzheimer’s disease, using cognitive assessments and amyloid and tau PET imaging.
