
Donna Shalala

Donna Shalala is president and CEO of the Clinton Foundation. From 2001 to 2015, she was president of University of Miami, where she is on leave from her position as Trustee Chair in Political Science and Health Policy. Shalala was President Clinton’s Secretary of Health and Human Services and served in the Department of Housing and Urban Development under President Carter. She has led the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Hunter College of City University of New York; was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations Independent Task Force on The Emerging Global Health Crisis; and is a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, among other honors.
