Dina Cappiello is chief communications and marketing officer at Rocky Mountain Institute. She is also a special adviser for Canary Media, an independent newsroom covering the energy transition powered by RMI, and co-host of the “Climate Now” podcast. Prior to this, Cappiello was executive vice president and editorial director at Edelman, where she built and led an earned media and storytelling team and focused on helping clients communicate on sustainability issues. Previously, Cappiello spent 15 years as an environmental reporter at publications including the Albany Times Union, Houston Chronicle, Congressional Quarterly, ClimateWire, and The Associated Press.
