David Shaw is an investor and hedge fund manager who has built more than a dozen technology companies and has extensive public service experience. Shaw’s environmental work has included chairing the Sargasso Sea Alliance, National Park Foundation trustee, and founder of Second Century Stewardship. He has been treasurer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, chair of The Jackson Laboratory, fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School and the Explorer’s Club, and a director of Maine Medical Center, Curiosity Stream, and the US-Israel Science Commission.
