David Rockwell is founder and president of Rockwell Group, an interdisciplinary architecture and design firm. A fellow of the American Institute of Architects (FAIA), his projects include Nobu Hotels and restaurants, The Perelman arts venue, Climate Change Arena in Seattle, the Smithsonian FUTURES exhibition, Warner Music Group headquarters, TED Theater in Vancouver, BC, and set designs for over 60 theatrical productions, including Kiss Me Kate, She Loves Me, and Kinky Boots. Rockwell’s honors include a Tony Award for Best Scenic Design for She Loves Me, the AIANY President’s Award, the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award, the Pratt Legends Award, and the Presidential Design Award. He is a board member of Citymeals on Wheels and New York Restoration Project.
