David L. Cohen is senior executive vice president and chief diversity officer of Comcast Corporation. He was previously a partner in and chairman of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll. From 1992 to 1997, he was chief of staff to the mayor of Philadelphia. Cohen is chairman of the board of trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and its executive committee, as well as a board member of Penn Medicine, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and its CEO Council for Growth, City Year, National Urban League, and UnidosUS. He serves as campaign chair for the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and is a member of the United States Semiquincentennial Commission.
