Christina Montgomery is vice president and chief privacy and trust officer for IBM, overseeing the company’s privacy program, compliance and strategy globally, and directing all aspects of privacy policies. She also chairs IBM’s AI Ethics Board. During her 29-year tenure at IBM, Montgomery has held positions including managing attorney, cybersecurity counsel and, most recently, corporate secretary to the board of directors. A leader in AI ethics and governance, she is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce AI Commission and the National AI Advisory Committee, advising the U.S. president and National AI Initiative office. Other service includes the Future of Privacy Forum Advisory Board, Center for Information Policy Leadership Advisory Council, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board.
