Chris Levesque

Chris Levesque is president and CEO of TerraPower, a nuclear innovation company. Also a board member, he joined TerraPower as president in 2015. With over 30 years of experience in the nuclear field, Levesque previously led new reactor build efforts at Westinghouse and AREVA. He led the formation of AREVA’s joint venture with Newport News Shipbuilding, AREVA Newport News, for which he was board chairman and president. Earlier in his career, Levesque was manager of engineering and manufacturing at a Westinghouse component manufacturing facility and served in multiple management positions at two nuclear-capable shipyards. He began his career as a nuclear submarine officer, serving on the USS Boise and the USS Will Rogers. Levesque is a board member of the Nuclear Energy Institute.
